So, I’d intended to be back on the social media yesterday and back at work today. I wasn’t able to manage that because the grandson and I both got sick on the way home from Florida. He started with a high fever and sore throat late Sunday night. We took him to the doctor as soon as we got home and found out he has strep. He’s got medication and is feeling better already.
My fever started on Monday evening, and I wasn’t able to get out of bed yesterday at all. I assumed I had the same thing the Little Dude has because we were closed up together in the car for 12 hours and we drank after one another a bit on the trip. I went to the doctor today, and it turns out I have Influenza A. So we picked up two separate, highly-contagious infections and didn’t infect one another. Weird, right?
Anyway. I can’t go back to work until Friday at the earliest, but I should be feeling well enough tomorrow to start catching up on the comments and whatnot. Hopefully I’ll be back in the swing of things by the weekend.

Feel better soon! Meanwhile, self-care and pamper yourself silly, Gene’O! This might be Mother Nature’s way of telling you you work too hard and you need to spoil yourself more. 😀
